“I believe the Brazilians will win this game. But they´re showing that they´re not ready for their 6th title.”

That’s the funny thing about Brazil over the past 10 years or so. They rarely look strong against the average teams. The defense plays a “bend, but do not break” style, and the offence looks like they are asleep for 90 percent of the game. In the end, Brazil wins because they seem to consistently score during the 10 percent of the game in which they show flashes of brilliance.

My description about is not unusual. Teams win in this manner all the time. What is unusual is that Brazil does this almost every time they play. I remember 4 years ago I was not impressed with Brazil until they beat Turkey 2-1 during the semi’s in a hard fought game in which the Brazilian midfield really came alive and played intense ball for 90 minutes.

Based on Brazil’s history of not performing at their best until towards the end of the tournament, I predict we will have a better idea of Brazil’s abilities on Saturday when they play the winner of Spain/France.

"I'm sure if Ronaldinho was an attacker the score would be inflated."

Huh? Where are they playing him? Central defence?

(sarc, btw)

"Yep, it was offsides. Brazil has the luck of the dummies. But their soccer play has-been good. They don´t perform like the "artists of soccer" they pretend to be. "

Ronaldinho is not an attacker... wait until 2010... he will start to wipe clean Ronaldo new world record. Imho.

This is nonsense.

Ronaldinho plays behind the main strikers. He will not be getting any goal scoring records. That's not what he does.

Nope Adriano was offside, then got back onsides, then received the pass to put it away. Perfectly legal.

Who did you pick for the France-Spain game?

We have your donuts waiting. Just one more needle chock full of vitamin steroids and you can eat as many as you want.

Probably right.

The German fans have no chanted "steht auf, wenn ihr Ghanaer seid!" (stand up, when you´re from Ghana) - sympathy for the underdogs.

Then why has every commentary site described it as "clearly offside"? Or, alternatively, "definitely offside".

Don't know what you're talking about. I have my own eyes. It was offsides and then he got back on sides from what I could tell.

How did you view the play?

I can't tell the future, no one can tell the future, but if they put him in that position then he will score. He had 17 goals for Barca in 2006.

I’m viewing the online commentary. But when every single site I go to unequivocally says it’s offside, I’ll go with them.

I’ll view the replay tonight, but I’ll be very surprised if every single commentator apart from you is wrong.

Quite the opposite, I'll bet. It's happened before.

Probably had something to do with the Qback-Center relationship and how that looks to the rest of the world....

No you are pathetic. Why are you trolling here about the NFL?
All I said is that your idols in the NFL eat lots of donuts and get their butts plugged with steroids. You were the one who brought up homosexuals.

Not that there's anything wrong with you/them.

He’s not the sort of player you put right at the front. The most skilful players invariably play behind the goal snatchers so they can influence the game more.

Goal poaching is a totally different task. For a great example just look at Eto’o’s performance in the Champion’s League final. He had incredible acceleration, which Ronaldinho will never have. And that’s why Barca play Eto’o up front and Ronaldinho behind him.

I'm watching it live so I haven't seen the online stuff. Where are they saying the offsides occurred? I'll have to take another look at it again too.

Ghana is the underdog... lol...

When Brazil beats Germany, again.... this offsides business will be forgotten.

The Center-QB snap is a Rorschach test, in that it represents what the viewer projects onto it.
