It might be the best game ever, but France and Germany can only meet each other in the final or in the bronze game.

hang on, I take that back. I can't see Germany beating both Argentina and Brazil.

To: Eurotwit
You're right, I misread the schedule.

My Final Four is Germany, Italy, Portugal and France.

I can only assume you were watching a different match. The French played brilliantly and deserved their 3-1 win. The Spanish ran around like headless chickens and cheated to get a penalty. They cheated on two other occasions in the penalty box but the ref had realised his mistake by then.
Spain are chokers. France look like a good team. They will beat Brazil and then fall to England in the semi-final.

    BTW:

Henry did a Rivaldo today.

Disgraceful player...

Should have been yellow carded for play acting, and a free kick to Spain.

Instead, France scored from the free kick.

If, by some miracle, England get to the final, I'd sooner see it from France doing the hard work and beating Brazil!

    "Germany-England final"

I would enjoy that, though it wouldn't be pretty!

Anyway, have to catch last orders in the local; should see you here for England v Portugal.

    "Henry did a Rivaldo today."

Yeah, Henry's normally above that. Naughty boy. It was a foul by Puyol though. I think there might be a bit of bad blood between those two after the Champions League final.

To: jjbrouwer
Plenty of potential classic matchups yet to come. Now the real games begin.

    Look at Henry.

Falls down clutching his face.

If I were him, I'd cover up that mug as well, but Puyol didn't touch him.

Brazil will send the French packing, only to be eliminated by England.
