I would favor just treating each game separately. No carryover for yellow cards and no next game suspension for a red card based on two yellow cards with one exception. A flagrant or dangerous foul drawing a red card would mean a suspension for the next game or more games based on review of the incident.
I agree completely; that's how most sports are handled. Suspensions should be rare.
Yeah, I don’t see why reds and yellows should result in automatic suspension. For really nasty or dangerous play, fine, but going off in the game currently on should be punishment enough for a red card.
