In two more days, only 8 teams will remain in the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

Yep. Portugal beat them two years ago, as well, in the Euro Cup. Yesterday they wanted it more I guess.
Yes, watching the games in a stadium is best, of course. I watched Ukraine-Tunesia live last Friday. Even though the game sucked, it was still a lot of fun. If you are looking for tickets, there is still a chance to get some on this link. Every now and then, some new tickets appear. Watch out for the 'R' letter to become black on the right column, too! Just an hour ago, there were a couple tickets for Germany-Argentina on sale again, but somebody else was faster than I :-(
"2 mins: Australia hold on to the ball for the first two minutes - probably longer than England managed in the whole of last night's match. "
LOL, BBC's sarcasm starts early in the match!
Business trip unfortunately; no chance to see a match.
We had planned for months to watch USA - Brazil tomorrow night, but that didn't work out!

For once the BBC are spot on. Saw the alleged highlights of the England game late last night. It looked even worse 2nd time around.
If a Seminole fan was wearing orange their fans would say the same thing.
Really a very poor choice of color.
The loss of Deco will really hurt Portugal against England. Too bad he can't play. FIFA needs to review the rules governing yellow cards during the the WC. It is a shame that some of the world's best players can't play in the biggest games.. Deco was just holding the ball, delaying the free kick. The ref should have just warned him, especially since he already had a dubious yellow called minutes before.
England plays the winner. Interesting to see who is left for them to play against!
hehe.
Promising start by the Aussies.
Lots of Route One football. After the failure of 1994 I thought that approach was discredited in England forever:
Plan A -- kick the ball from the keeper to Les Ferdinand.
Plan B -- lose
My personal opinion is that a player should not be suspended nless he receives a straight red, and even then only after FIFA review. Suspensions should not be so routine -- it is stupid policy to run so many great players out of matches.
"Australia look like they've got three at the back, three in midfield and wing-backs. They're going for it - but there's no way Italy won't score today if it stays this open."
Chris Waddle, Five Live Sport
Sad thing is there was plenty of route one even without Crouch.
On the brighter side, the Aussies have made a reasonable start. BBC just said Lucas Neill linked with a move to Barca. What????
Bah..
The Russian mafia probably had bet money on more than 15 yellow cards in the match :-)
We love our crusaders! Look at the bottom of my profile.
Did I mention I missed the Portugal/Netherlands match?
"Wouldn't it be ironic if the Russian mob bet a lot of money on that game, and lost out because of that ref and his bad calls?"
If that did happen I'd advise that guy to go on a long holiday.
lol, that wouldn't surprise me either.
