Oh I definately root for England against the Argies, I hate that commie Maradona.
You need to get over yourself. The dive was obvious even to Italian eyes.
The ref in the Portugal - Holland match was Russian.
The famous striker, Oleg Blohkin is Ukrainian.
Please flush that nonsense down the crapper.
Thanks.
I'm tipping Lampard to finally come good and score a goal. Our other likely scorer - the injury-plagued Rooney - had better be careful as in that 2004 match, a Portuguese cheat jumped on his foot and broke it. Until then, we were dominating the match.
Joey Cole could score another screamer too. 3-1 England!
There was no dive and my regards to your next eye exam.
You aren't past Portugal yet, much less Brazil.
A team that had trouble scoring on Trinidad & Tobago is not a favorite to beat Brazil unless one is terminally myopic. For that matter, only a wonder goal in extra time put Argentina ahead of Mexico. Two teams that struggled to beat CONCACAF nations aren't exactly odds-on favorites to meet in the Finals.
Brazil v. Germany, again.
Joe Cole looks like his mental game has caught up with his physical abilities.
Lampard is due to get his shot on target and Rooney is now active and ready if he can just get the service.
The game can break either way with the skill on both sides.
Flush yourself.
Exuse me? I'm citing a fact over an obvious distortion or an outright error on your part.
Are you just making garbage up or are you now suggesting that I'm incorrect.
I certainly don't appreciate your suggestion, but have already flushed your garbage down the crapper regardless.
You'll find there are many real football fans here and making things up and presenting it as fact will be crushed and crushed utterly in short order.
Yours just happened to be done in short order.
It's your story, tell it however you want.
Well you can tell any children you like your story, I have it recorded and viewable on a big high definition screen. I'll take another look before the next match.
As I said, tell it how you want.
I also like the underrated Carrick in the midfield, breaking up the other team's attacks and feeding the more skilful England players. And even Owen Hargreaves surprised me by how well he played in an unfamiliar defensive role.
When Ecuador finally ventured out of their half and tried to score, England looked capable of catching them on the break. I think that counter-attacking game can surprise the Portuguese.
"I think the only thing we can blame ourselves for is that we did not get a goal."
Aussie Coach.
There, that tells it. You don't advance without scoring, let alone a man up.
I heard you the first time. You can stop crying now.
Just a side remark:
Is anybody else enjoying "The unlikely Fan" on MSN video as much as I am? I think these skits are friggin damn hilarious and really capture what is so great about soccer football: The traditions, the emotions and, of course, why nobody likes the Germans.

Route One Football from England is about as surprising as Italians diving in the box to win a penalty.
And for the Italian supporters here, that call was correct, but dude did dive. Blame for the PK goes to the Aussie defender who went to ground and offered Italy a perfect diving opportunity.
Aussies can't complain anyway. They had 11 v. 10 and still couldn't score. No sympathy for the bloody convicts.
With England's current injury situation they'll win the Ashes back very soon anyway and nobody in Australia will care about football unless it's Australian Rules.
England already won back the Ashes last summer.
That would be an improvement -- but at least it's cold.
Oh, I see, you meant Australia will win them back and no one there will care about the Socceroos.
