Maybe she was depressed to find she wasn't weird enough to fit in at UC Santa Cruz! ~ VOA

Is this a bad time to mention that my Darling Daughter starts at UCSC this fall?

There is no inoculation against the rabid communism and social perversion that infects that campus, so if your daughter doesn't have a rock-solid self image she's in trouble.
The place has, if not the highest, it has one of the highest suicide rates in the university system in CA. In fact, jumping off buildings is the method of choice, except most of the suicides don't leave campus to do it.
One of the most beautiful campuses in California, it is the home to the most tortured, pierced, tattooed, sexually perverse and lost souls imaginable. And I'm trying to be nice because its Sunday.

I hope you don't think I was being too cruel.
But UC Santa Cruz is thought of as a nutty place even at UCLA.
As you are a freeper, you've probably done what you can to immunize your
daughter for a journey through US-SC. Students can go off the rails (or thrive)
anyplace...even the most conservative church-affiliated colleges.
BUT...maybe here's someone to follow: Ben Stein even did a teaching stint at UC-SC,
and ended up at Pepperdine U., the conservative (for the West Coast)
university affiliated with the mainstream Churches of Christ.
Stein even taught an undergraduate class at Pepperdine that one of my cousins took
about 15 years ago and she really liked him.
