Three of the 27 undocumented workers arrested in April at an IFCO Systems office in San Antonio are fighting removal from the United States.
Nearly 1,200 people were arrested in raids in April at 40 plants around the nation, and almost all have been sent to their home countries voluntarily.
A voluntary return has no legal consequences should the person re-enter illegally and be caught.
If caught again after a formal deportation, immigrants can face up to 20 years in prison.

Re Ping!
So, why did they not arrest the illegal entrant girlfriend?
Undocumented? By that I guess that They mean criminal alien. I am sick and tired of the same old bull crap. The border needs to be closed, criminal aliens need to be deported, and the laws on the books, not new laws, need to be enforced. If not, America is going to go right down the crapper. Meaning its culture and heritage.
What is crazy, is that the only people to vote for who seem to understand this is disenfranchised republicans. IOW, members of the constitution party and other true conservative "fringe" republicans who don't stand a chance. I hate to be a downer, but until people, and I mean "republicans" quit voting party over principle, America as we know it is finished. It is time to elect true constitutional conservatives, and party be darned.
He's not an "immigrant". Immigration implies legal entry.
"All our plans have gone down the drain now," she said. "I don't know what to think or do anymore."
I bet one of your plans was to become a legal resident./s
