Ever since she died, I have made sure I have my seatbelt fastened.
It must be amazingly hard to live one's life in a goldfish bowl like that.

Why is it that when it comes to Princess Di, nobody can ever just see a tragic accident?
Every time this subject comes up, I am reminded of the story of Barbra Mandrell, who witnessed a very bad crash in Memphis which scared her so much that she immediately buckled her seat belt and those of her kids. Minutes later, they were broadsided by a truck. They should have died but didn't, because only minutes before, she had decided to use her seat belt. The stuff of minor miracles, IMHO.
