Look at Australia. We can still win.

Need a miracle now.
Overall, a disappointing World Cup for the US.

I was in a car listening to a German radio commentator when it happened, and he didn't think it was a foul, either, let alone a penalty. Weird, really. I wonder what Merk thought he saw there.

Just saw Italy's goal. Really cool and funny. Dribbled up to the goaly. He charged. The Italian went around him and lazily scored. Cool.

Well, that should at least account for about 4 or 5 minutes in stoppage time.

Ghana is in good shape now. Even a tie puts them through. ugh.

What's sad is that the US made the Czechs look unbeatable, and the Czechs aren't even going through.

New coach Jürgen Klinsmann may be able to turn things around for the USA in 2010. ;)

Seems from the online commentary that Ghana are time wasting now.

There is nothing that can be said about the disgrace that is being allowed with Ghana players laying all over the field. I have never seen such a ridiculous game in all my life. The German ref ought to be completely ashamed for allowing this. It's hardly worth watching anymore, that is not a soccer match.

US has had numerous opportunities this half, they just cannot seem to finish a play.

They don't have to do much with the lead.
To: commish
The US will remain a second-tier side until they get finishers.

arguably the worst performance of the tournament. hate to say that.
To: onja
The Italian went around him and lazily scored. Cool. You have to be pretty chilly to do that. 8-)
Ghana will go up against Brazil. I give them a decent shot. Brazil doesn't look so dominant this year.
