To: deport

Seems like another great way to mainline illegals and drugs into the country to me.

Does this Hammes lady enjoy contradicting herself?

1. She said Kansas City SmartPort is "a non-profit organization, not a physical building or facility being built for Mexico." but then says "Kansas City, Mo., is leasing the site to Kansas City SmartPort". (I assume padi for by American Taxpayers). Therefore they WILL have physical facilities. Does she think we will not connect these dots?

2. Hammes confirmed Kansas City plans to house a Mexican customs facility in the city's port, but she pointed out it will handle outbound U.S. freight exclusively, not inbound. But isnt this an obsfucation of the issue? The biggest problem to this "Security Minded Conservative" is that OUR customs inspections will not occur until potentially hazardous materials, or even WMDs are already in our heartland, with only am x-ray "Prescreen" in Mexico. Hrmm... we screen only a small percentage of cargo in the US, I wonder how much they will screen in Mexico? By whom? I wonder if Chemical and Biological agents will show up. ugg hrmm...

Finally, I wonder how many American truckers will lose their jobs when all this takes place. I have many family and friends who will not be able to compete with mexican truck drivers who do not have the training our fine American Truckers have.
