Howie Carr: Radio 101 (Bernie Sanders says there should be more liberal radio)

(If link above doesn't work, go to wrko.com and look for "Radio 101" at the top.)

An 11 minute bit from the Howie Carr show where Howie talks about Rep. Bernie Sanders (Communist-Vermont) saying that talk radio should be 50-50...not enough liberal talk on there. Comrade Bernie apparently doesn't realize the American public will listen to what it wants...well- reasoned and entertaining radio (so much for you, Al Franken)...and as for why libtalk Air America hasn't succeeded? "We already HAVE a liberal talk network here. It's called NPR!"

Hey Bernie... if we're going to have to surrender our free speech rights for 50% liberal talk radio, then I want to see you demanding more conservative views in NEWS reporting and staffing.

Just because the rest of the world "likes" state run media, doesn't mean we do.

We don't need liberal talk shows, we have "conservative" or "moderate" talk show hosts who espouse the liberal point of view.

Not only that, but our tax dollars pay for the rubbish on NPR.

Only recently discovered Howie's streaming show on the internet. It's one of my new faves.

Bernie, there's no market for it.
The MSM lies for free 24/7.

yes it's great--was "semi-nationwide" for awhile, with stations in Wichita, KS; Hagerstown, MD; Seattle; Salt Lake City;
suburban Cincinnatti; Florida, etc., but these days it's
pretty much a dozen stations just in New England ...AND...
live streaming!
