Regarding the FDA, they are not only a joke, but they are lying, thieving, cheaters and pathetic excuses for human beings, that are totally war crime candidates in my opinion. In other words, string 'em up by their toes, and let 'em dangle over the ocean...
Tha FDA is part of the criminal cartel known as Big Pharma. The FDA uses GESTAPO-STYLE TACTICS! The FDA actively suppresses free speech, which means they have VIOLATED the FEDERAL CIVIL RIGHTS ACT.
Kevin Trudeau's book is one that should be read by everyone to expose these fakes.

I have his book. It's good.
People need to start eating fresh foods (especially plant-based foods...eating meat is not a sin, but gluttony is), not the processed junk. As I've stated before, the chemicals, additives, and preservatives in processed foods (including regular and diet sodas) are among the root causes of illnesses in America, and the drugs that Big Pharma pushes on everybody makes these illnesses even worse.
That Atkins Diet? It's a gluttonous diet. Gluttonous diets almost always fail. The Atkins Diet may cause you to lose weight...but it's at the expense of your cholesterol and triglyceride levels. A proper diet includes eating lots of plant-based foods, including fruits...and if you have a juice extractor, you can make your own fresh juices. (Right now, my favorite juice combination is carrot, spinach, watermelon/cantaloupe, and apple.) Any diet which lists fruits as a no-no is not worthy of being called a diet.

I had a close friend die recently of cancer...it was due to the chemo...IMHO. FDA is there to protect conventional medical industry and big pharma not the American People.

I saw the infomercial, too. The infomercial host is the same guy who hosted the "Almighty Cleanse" infomercial.
Well, the Center for Consumer Freedom also reports that the selenium found in fish cancels out any mercury in the fish. Of course you could also say that the CCF is the PR firm for "Big Food".
Just remember to always thorougly wash your fruits and vegetables so you won't ingest those nasty pesticides.
I have always done that. And for the past several years, I've been using a bio-degradable cleaner(Shaklee) and it does an excellent job. It's unbelievable all the crap they put on fruits and vegetables to preserve them. The wax...Yuk! The Shaklee stuff with water, just causes all the wax to turn white and gritty, so you can't miss it when cleaning it off the apples. It looks like some horrible disease. The apple distributors simply outta be fired for utter contempt for the health of consumers. But so should all the other people who put corrosive and harmful stuff in/on food...
I hope one day the FDA gets a dose of sanity by removing aspartame from the marketplace. I imagine aspartame is probably the main reason why cases of Alzheimer's and MS have skyrocketed.
But I don't think we'll ever see any sanity at the FDA. And the FTC? They're part of Big Pharma's criminal cartel as well. If Big Pharma's criminal cartel was based on "Animal Farm", The FDA and the FTC would be the Dogs (the bullies), Big Pharma would be the Pigs (greedy swines they already are), and 99% of "We the People" would be the Sheep.
Yeah, the FTC is just as big a criminal as the FDA. All anyone has to do is look at the baloney they allow over the airwaves. And look at all the lies and liars that exist in advertising. That is the biggest farce. Advertisers know they are causing harm by spewing their lies. But they don't give a rip about anything except the $$$$. The PIGS!
Anyway, the aspartame is something else. If people only knew the harm it causes once ingested. Formaldehyde. Yeah, that's a great preservative, FOR DEAD PEOPLE. Good 'ole aspartame is FDA approved and it turns into formaldehyde in combination with all other stomach substances. The aftertaste is the biggest clue. But most people don't even pay attention to that because they just figure if it's FDA approved it has the Seal of God on it. Yeah, well, the way I see it if it's FDA approved, the red flag goes up and I wonder what's wrong with it...
Not only that, but the FDA has approved the following :
1. Allowing the "morning after" pill to be sold over the counter...even though the pill has been known to kill people
2. The VeriChip "to replace the Medic ID bracelet", when the REAL reason for approving the VeriChip is to usher in the Big Brother "beast system" where you will be tracked at all times. Now all the VeriChip people need is a Hollywood "it" girl to harp about how "cool/hip/trendy/stylish/sexy" it is to get chipped...chances are they will probably want this Hollywood "it" girl to have direct connections to the military...if that's the case, then I know who it is. I won't mention her name, but I do know she has an older brother who "just happens" to be a Captain in the U.S. Army. Now just think if the United States government turns into a military dictatorship...while Cappy is torturing civilians who dare cherish freedom and liberty, his sister will be the one "persuading" people into taking the chip.
That may sound like a tin foil hat conspiracy theory, but so did the Real ID Act (national ID cards), the North American Union (Security & Prosperity Partnership of North America), and health fascism (Big Pharma, Big Food, FDA, FTX, Codex Alimentarius, and Healthy People 2010). Right now, nothing, and I mean nothing, would surprise me.
Yeah. Those people have got nothing but evil planned for all. It doesn't bother me much, for I know where I'll be residing in eternity. And it won't be the same place as those folks. Their eternal housing is gonna be a might toasty...
It's like what Alex Jones says on his radio show...the FDA has basically said that aspartame and mercury are "nutritious".
Did you catch a story about a month or two ago about kids snorting Crystal Light to get "an aspartame high"? No wonder the "War on Drugs" is a failure...the government imports all the illegal drugs and gets people to buy their drugs so they can arrest them and put them under lifetime probation/surveillance, and they use the FDA to get people hooked on "legal" substances.
Yeah, The government has it all worked out. When they don't have an income any longer for thus and such, they can always fall back on some other drug the public unwittingly consumes. The FDA is full of spiders that have spun their web so tightly. Well, I sure wouldn't want to be in their shoes on Judgement Day.
Vaguely remember something about The Crystal Light stuff. It sounded so incredible to me, that I just wanted to forget it.
Regarding The War on Drugs, I think that is a farce too. Authorities don't really give a rip because they are so heavily involved in the money it brings in. Its just another avenue to, rid society of people, without doing much other than saying, we tried to stop drugs but just couldn't. All the trashy things in society could have been stopped long ago if anybody really wanted to put an end to bad things. The movers and shakers simply don't want to. Bad things bring in too much money. And their day, too shall come...
