So true. Beasley is the type of player who needs to put the ball into space and just run by somebody in a 1 on 1 situation, which was especially called for at the end of this game. He just doesn't have the technical skills to beat people and gives up possession way too easily.

I thought the ABC announcers were awful. UK announcers I've heard are really in tune with the game, they follow the flow of the game, and comment on the strategy.

The ABC announcers were more concerned with the Italian coaches investigation - they must've mentioned that 4 times (or more) during the match. It's almost like they have tried to adapt the NBA or NFL model of announcing for soccer: lots of figures and stats during stopped play don't work well with soccer(these really bugged me during the matches today).
