Credit for calling that shot. Actually, though, looking over BF's scenario the USA only needs to tie today if Italy and the USA both win their last match in group play.
Ghana opened the door for us. We need at least a tie today. A loss and while we won't be out mathematically, we'll be so far behind on GD that it will be over for us.
