Normally, I just laugh of the keyboard trolls, but tonight they piss me off.
After tonight, those trolls can take a hike to DU (and take the referee with them)
Apparently the US coaches felt McBride might have something left.
He's the man who you'd want on the receiving end of any long ball.

I have the curse of being a Seahawks fan, so I'm familiar with terrible officiating - you can't change the outcome, regardless. See also Washington State's gubernatorial race in 2004.
Still, a great match. They showed some resolve there. Thank goodness.
And, please, no Steeler fan flames. Ping me to another thread, if that's the case!
i dont think they blew it.. they were outplayed until the last 1/3 of the game when they were up a man. those offsides wouldnt have even been chances if they hadnt stepped offsides
Reyna played great. You don't take out the Captain when the whole team is playing so well with only 9 men.
9 men!
Couldn't agree more. Thank you for your endoresement for the trolls.
I second you're motion.
Trolls as you leave, please take your Uruguay ref with you.
he played great until the last 20 when he was dead. You do take out the captain if he has no gas left.
Promising that Donovan started to show some improvement in the second half.
Perhaps he can finally arrive against Ghana.
9 men have extra ground to cover. you cant do that effectively by walking. thats all I'm saying... his passes were missing his targets by almost 10 yards he needed a sub
Reyna was still involved on defense and offense.
I can't say anything bad about any US player.
I've never seen anything like this let alone in the World Cup.
I salute Team USA. Thank you!!!
Donovan was nothing short of tremendous.
He was just splendid tonight.
But offsides kills momemtum and an attack, they are like turnovers.
And had it not been for that mone miraculous save by Keller, the US would have come up empty, despite the great effort.
We'll have to wait to hear from Arena on the one remaining sub left.
Probably was held in case of emergency.
If someone got hurt it would be insane to play 8 and two men down.
I'll just have to disagree with you. Reyna was slow in my opinion and dog tired. Captain or not. you need to affect the game in a positive way, he did that for the first 2/3 of the game then nothing. maybe on the replay I'll disagree with myself but now I think he needed to come out
Kasey Keller gets an A+. Superb.
I think that was Arena's reasoning, that one point was too precious to risk it.
