The U.S. national team faces a must-win situation Saturday against Italy (2:30 p.m. ET, ABC). The U.S. lineup could see some changes, including adding Eddie Johnson. Czech Republic and Ghana play earlier in the day (11:30 a.m., ABC), while Portugal advanced by beating Iran 2-0.

    I can´t see a fault in his decisions. Maybe he escalated too early and didn´t use the possibility of giving warnings, but when someone has a yellow card and fouls again, you need to send him off. And the reds were ok, the Italian and the American both have intentionally hurt the opponent.

    Italy is too good of a team to win with one man down. A tie maybe like kissing your sister but it would a hot sister.
