Anyhow.
What a great first half by team USA. Color me impressed.
Took the game to Italy from the git go, and dominated the game to the end.
And, what drama...

I thought it was harsh. Definetly a yellow though.
Yellow to orange ;-).

At this point I'll be happy with the draw.
The effort is there and we had many more chances.

I just hope the fate of the Italian who scored the own goal is better than that of the last guy that scored an own goal for the US.
And somehow I thought after Italy got their red card, that the refs were going to look for any excuse to give out a red against the US, my fear was correct.
But overall a good showing for the US, now we just have to keep doing what we're doing and somehow finish one more time.

Like that gatorade ad, with the toughness of being a US team in a sport the rest of the world dominates and you're not always welcome in town.

But the crowd in Kaiserslautern is definately pro-US, who woulda thunk it playing a European team in Europe?

Convey, McBride and Donovan still playing like crap But at least Beasley's gone, and Reyna's having a good game. I have no clue what Pope was thinking, though.

Pope has a yellow and if he keeps it up he'll get another.

I thought the Gay games were in Chicago this year? He must have made a wrong turn in Albuqurque.
