I would say that Maine's comments are probably typical of American libs. Hollyweird lib: What? Me a patriot. Love my country? No effing way.

I don't see why people care about the Dixie Twits. Don't buy their stuff. Don't listen to their music. Because she insults me every time she opens her mouth. I believe in the country, the president and am a fan of Toby Keith and Reba. So every time this POS opens her fat ugly mouth, I will feel free to comment. Which is something the left doesn't happen to believe I have a right to do.

You can like where you live and like your life, but as for loving the whole country
This is what happens when kids don't read the classics anymore.
Perhaps a trip on the Levant is in order?

Just when i thought Natalie couldn't get any dumber...she comes up with another jewel. Now she's TRYING to alienate Patriotic Americans. She may have a deeper psychosis going on here than i originally thought. Lloyd! Get your daughter to the doctor before she implodes in public on tour.

Clive Davis: I dont know if theres a country song called When Youre In A Hole, Youd Better Stop Digging, but if there is, the Dixie Chicks might want to adopt it as their signature tune.

Did anyone see the live broadcast? Over on the CMT Board of Dixie Chick lovers one posted this
"What Natalie said in London tonight :)
"Well it's great to be back in Shephard's Bush. We've returned to the scene of the crime.
And all week the only thing people keep asking is what you gonna say, do you know what your gonna say?
I didn't plan anything but I thought i'd say something brand new and say....
JUST SO YOU KNOW WE'RE ASHAMED THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES IS FROM TEXAS" "
I just find it hard to believe that someone can be that stupid. If true, guess they want more tour dates canceled. As it is, record sales are down to only 175,00 this week. Aw poor babies(NOT!) I think someone needs to take the peroxide away from them. They are down to sharing a brain cell and before long that one will be gone.

Which is old; her hair is much longer now. Still, beauty is as beauty does, and that's the real problem.

...... in addition to the sale of albums and concert tickets. Last night at Barnes and Noble I noticed their CD's have been discounted from the original price of $18.99 down to $12.99. Most other CD's were discounted $2 at most. And I couldn't resist. I picked up a couple of Toby Keith CD's and covered up the dixie chicks CD's.

The entire country may disagree with meNot true. Just their entire previous fan base.

The "Chicks'" attitudes are reminiscent of my teenagers. It's natural at that at age for a kid to be totally self-absorbed and to have no clue about how his/her actions impact other people. It's all about entitlement and no understanding of obligations.
Maines' question about "Why patriotism?" is like "Why should I make my bed, it's just going to get messed up again?" You expect such behavior from a 13 year-old. At 30-something, the Chicks should have a clue. It's not that they're anti-American. They simply resent any inference that they have an obligation to the country that let them grow up in relative peace, security, and prosperity because of the sacrifices others made in their behalf. It's just an extreme case of extended adolescence.
