I've got no problem with Mexico and Canada as joining the US as states no. 51 and 52...but just as states. We already have a Union.

(It's time for the party to return to the principles of President Reagan.)

Tom is right on! This is a worrisome development. It looks like President Bush is more in favor of trade barriers, not border barriers!

Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., is demanding the Bush administration fully disclose the activities of an office implementing a trilateral agreement with Mexico and Canada
It is about time somebody made such a demand.

Obviously the need for oil (Canada's and Mexico's) a big part of this direction, as well as having more direct control/cooperation with anti-terror interdiction in the entire Western Hemisphere.

This issue is obviously not a conspiracy theory any longer. Maybe you should get with the program and take off your POTUS loyalty blinders.

At first it was allegedly the president selling our ports to the enemies a few weeks ago and then when the dust settled...Clinton was behind everything. I'll sit back and watch this one as the dust settles.... :)

As WND reported, the White House has established working groups, under the North American Free Trade Agreement office in the Department of Commerce, to implement the Security and Prosperity Partnership, or SPP, signed by President Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox and then-Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin in Waco, Texas, March 23, 2005.
OMG!! Not (cue the ominous music) Working Groups!

I think part of the problem is that some people are worried that this is seen as a purely republican issue. It's not, it's a continuous thing that's been going on since the first Bush administration, through the Clinton administration on to today.
The ultimate goal of both parties seems to be the same.
