I had a black cat that kept escaping... then never came home.
My little gray cat got out one night, got mauled by the neighbor's dog, got nicked by a car, and ended up with several puncture wounds and a broken pelvis. She survived, but it was nothing short of a miracle. She's fine today, and sweet talks the birds from her side of the window. Now she's afraid to go outside...
