One only needs to look at Jeff Davis with his 115 slaves producing an annual income of about $45,000 per year to see how wrong Lincoln was. Thomas Jackson peddled a couple of his slaves to buy a house, Lincoln had to work for his. Lee hired out his father-in-laws slaves to get money to repair his house.
