Am reading the book, "The South Was Right" by James and Walter Kennedy. Only up to page 32, because this is a real stomach turning book about, The Wonderful Exploits of Mr. Abraham Lincoln-the president most people think is all that, and a bag of chips too. I knew there were horrendous things he did, but I wouldn't read about them at the time I researched my own book, as that would have really messed with my mind. I guess it follows the saying that one learns about certain things, when they need to know.

See post 708 and 709 before supporting Mr. watie or even treating him as anything better than a DU troll. He is a proven liar.
Second, revelations that Lincoln was not perfect are every bit as "shocking" as revelations that Jefferson actually owned slaves. When people say, "the South was right," they're saying, "The South was right to start a major shooting war because they thought a non-abolitionist might impose abolition." That wasn't justification for killing anybody.

"Am reading the book, "The South Was Right" by James and Walter Kennedy."
It's an excellent work and goes far to refute and illuminate
the vast plethora of Yankee propaganda that has spewed forth and held sway over the last century plus.
Isn't it interestin that exactly what the Kennedy's point out in the book is still so alive and well today. In fact you can view it in action right here ! ;^)
Thanks for taking the time to read this important and valuable
book. I hope all that love and honor their Southern heritage do the same.
