A high school friend of mine's son was the #1 draft pick as a pitcher for Montreal (now Washington). He was in a motorcycle accident and it ruined his career.

Yes.............. I had a teammate in high school who was one hell of an outfielder.......... almost as good as me. ;-)

Then, he was killed on a motorcycle during his senior year.
