The NAFTA template has always involved natural resources from Canada and labor from Mexico. The lightly-populated area near Thunder Bay would seem a logical place for what will be essentially a huge freight yard. What do the road and rail infrastructures in that area look like?
Well, there's the east-west trans Canada highway and the major east-west rail lines.

I wish I could remember where I just read this, unfortunately I don't, but I just read it today, and that was a mention of how we recently conducted Navy type maneuvers or some such thing, with Canada up there. This was very recent.
I'm sorry I didn't take the time to really read the article. At the time I was looking for something else and just skimming, as it were.
