I can't wipe away the tears seeing one of my former players on the USA team. You bet I'm proud.

Go Ben Olsen and hope you get in.

Here on German television they showed a few interviews with American players (Berhalter, Cherundolo, Reyna), who all speak German fluently (quite a few Bundesliga players in the US team), which was really nice ;-).

Go USA!

I'm still shell shocked from 94.

I won't be able to celebrate unless its a win or a tie.

84 degrees at gametime, pretty warm by Europe standards, might benefit the US.

Yellow card for the big man already. Better watch out, even though that was a foul, Nedved is a notorious diver.

The referee seems a bit overzealous...

... correct that, he definitely seems very overzealous.

Plenty of time to come back.... Just look at the Aussies earlier today.

Wonder how the Czechs will handle taking the lead so early...

Come on USA!!!

Have to admit that was a beautiful goal. Our left side got beat bad.

With this match ball a shot from outside the box has a decent chance - US had some decent buildup but are trying to string 3 passes together within a 10 yard radius - test the keeper early you may be pleased with the result.

Typical overcontrol/coaching not just by Arena but by most WC managers.

I heard on the grapevine that the ESPN pundits were saying Kasey Keller was the best keeper in the world.

Umm? I mean, he’s good, but not that good.
