Phillip Lahm turned and twisted past two men, then fired it up into the far top corner of the goal.
And then 1-1
Wow

Go Ticos!!!!!!!
damn close to being offsides.
Wanchoppe is their best, he played MLS for a while.
To: Central Scrutiniser
Great start to the World Cup so far.
I remember Wanchope well from his time in England.
Great player.

*sigh*
I can't get into Yahoo!/FIFAWorldCup matchcast.
ESPN/Soccernet matchcast is woefully behind and inconsistent in updates.
I can't access ESPN360.
Y'all need to post more details for us cubicle-bound folk...

Soccer is for people who can't play FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!............. Unintentionally ironic post of the day.
To: kevkrom
Only 2 minutes in and the horrid commentary had me switching from ESPN to Univision...and I can't even speak Spanish!

I don't blame you, American announcers suck at doing soccer.

I want Poland to beat Germany sooo bad. I am anticipating that game even more than the US games.

I have no strong feelings either way.
Other than that it is usually good for the tournament IMHO that the host team at least advances and stays in the tournament for a while.
If Germany was eliminated at the group stages it would put a bit of a damper of the party atmosphere in Germany.
Cheers.
