Didn't that Costa Rican pull the German down over by the goal. Isn't that a penalty kick? From BBC Sport:
83 mins: The home support's clapping in unison is broken by piercing whistles after Bernd Schnieder goes down in the box. It is a blatant dive but there is no yellow card. The Fifa suits in the stands will not be happy after their directive to clamp down on simulation.

Definately. The first and last will be considered 'Goal of the Tournament' candidates, and it's only the first game!

Definately. The first and last will be considered 'Goal of the Tournament' candidates, and it's only the first game! Safe to say that all the adidas hype about the new match ball isn't just hype. That ball swerved from mid-goal all the way to the corner. Great strike but that keeper was astounded by the movement. Might be a good sign for Becks & Stevie G!!!!!!!

It was a great game.
I am really waiting for tomorrow's game with England, but the goals tonight managed to make me get carried away :-)

"Interesting to see Oliver Kahn watching the replays from the bench and trying to keep his poker face...."
That was hilarious. We may well see more of that. Germany's defence is a bit leaky.
I've got Klose in my fantasy team. So far so good there then...

Yep.....footy's boring all right :)!!!! (Joking of course)

Hey, me too!. I wish I would have made him captain like I was contemplating, I would have got a double score.
I went with Larssen of Sweden instead. Hopefully, he'll get a bunch against T&T.

Yeah, snap. I was seriously considering it. Hopefully Adriano will bag a couple and then I won't feel bad :o)

lol.
Just watching the news now.
Some English fans are on singing:
"There were six German bombers in the air. The RAF shot them down. lalala"
Don't mention the war :-)
