You might also want to clear/defrag/rebuild your virtual memory. It's much easier than it sounds. Let me know if you need instructions.

clear/defrag/rebuild your virtual memory

Right-click (RC) on My Computer. Left-click (LC) "Properties". LC "Advance Tab". LC "Performance Options". LC "Change". Change "Initial Size" to 0. Change "Maximum Size" to 0. LC "Set. Reboot. Run Defrag on the hard drive with the OS. When finished, repeat the initial instructions, but change "Initial Size" & "Maximum Size" to about 1.5x your RAM. LC "Set". Reboot. Now you have a fresh page file (V-mem).
