If this travesty, God forbid, ever goes to trial, will Nifong keep Precious off the stand? After the hell she has put everyone through, don't the accused have the right to face their accuser? Is there any way that she can be required to take the stand. I'm asking any attorneys here for answers.

They don't have to put here on the stand, but in this fact pattern they have no evidence without her testimony. For example who's going to ID the 3 defendants?
She'll have to testify.

Even if Nifong doesn't call Mangum as a witness, the defense certainly could.

There is no possibility of a trial without the accuser being on the witness stand. The constitution provides for it. The state is not the accuser.

This is why I always said if I ever get a ticket by issued by a camera I will demand my right to face my accuser in court. It is not the agency that sends out the ticket it is the camera. I would demand that the camera that actually took the picture be brought into court. If enough people did it the cameras would be in court and not taking pictures.
