She later told police that she had consumed a 24-ounce bottle of beer and then told police she had two 22-ounce bottles of beer, according to the motion.

Abrams should have immediately pointed out to Bondi all the flaws with the identification and that the fingernail is meaningless because Mangum herself told the medical people that there was no choking, kicking, etc., the fingernail being a figment of Nifong's claim that there was choking. Mangum said there was no choking. so the fingernail is completely irrelevant now, especially since the partial DNA match to Evans is on the top of the nail, was retreived from a wastebasket so it obviously had been handled by the occupants of the house, of which Evans is one, so that's a dead end for the prosecution.

She did say at one point at the hospital that she was drunk the night before and had been drinking heavily. She mentions the muscle relaxers.
Jarriel Johnson reports her knocking over a drink the DAY of the party. Kim reports her knocking over a drink at the lacrosse party. The policemen judged her as passed out drunk.
In 2002, she was drinking heavily at Diamond Girls strip club and she had what was described as the zoning-out and not responding to anyone for some time. She stole a car later that night.
The possibility is there that she has serious substance abuse issues, which is consistent with women in her profession, and consistent with having your drivers license repeatedly revoked.
I somehow doubt that she was taking the prescription for 7 days, like you or I would.

This is an exceptionally deliberate, egregious violation of these boys' civil rights, and it is not a result of simple misfeasance. It is malfeasance, and Nifong's motive was to make himself electable to Durham's black population, so there is a racial discrimination element to his motives as well, inasmuch as the boys are white.

It makes you wonder why none of these people had problems playing the 911 calls incessantly and repeatedly pointing out the N word usage - and then speculating on the Racist/Hate motives on the part of the lacrosse players.

Hid under the table and wouldn't come out. She also danced on stage and when asked to stop (someone else was coming on), she acted like she didn't hear them and she had to be helped off the stage. She would not respond to anyone including female dancers at the club that were trying to help her.
