Police: Dancer Called Rape Allegation a 'Crock'

The motion also says the alleged victim told Durham police that she had performed for a couple at a Raleigh hotel hours before the Duke lacrosse party. She told police that she used a vibrator. Osborn suggests that could be the source of the vaginal injuries mentioned in the rape kit report. (snip) Osborn says the accuser gave conflicting accounts of what happened. The motion says medical records indicate she told a doctor that she used no alcohol or drugs. The accuser told the sexual assault nurse that she had consumed one drink of alcohol and was taking Flexeril, a prescription drug used to treat muscle spasms.

The alleged victim told a doctor the next day at UNC Hospitals that "she was drunk and had had a lot of alcohol that night," the motion said.

She later told police that she had consumed a 24-ounce bottle of beer and then told police she had two 22-ounce bottles of beer, according to the motion.

I'm getting the impression that NiFong's game is: "Well, that's all the detectives gave me". Except I believe that Himan was designated special hitter by NiFong.

And it was mere coincidence that Himan served the warrant on the cabbie? I don't THINK so!

Well, a working girl has to try to look good and smell good. Maybe Febreze is just one of the many tricks of the trade.

Not to belabor this point, but I read it again:

"Later that day, Johnson said, he was taking the accuser to her parents' house in Durham when she asked him to stop so she could go to the bathroom. "She got out of the car and started walking down Creedmoor Rd.," Johnson wrote. "I pulled my car over and got out to chase her down. She told me to leave her alone."

Johnson said he asked several times before she climbed back in the car. The two reached Johnson's home about 4:30 p.m."

One way to read this is that they did NOT go to the parents house: Johnson asked several times before she climbed back in , the two reached JOHNSON's home about 4:30 p.m.

She pitched a fit about going home and that's why when she gets back in - they go to HIS home.

Let's hope the Feds stop him. If the Media would make more noise, the Feds could investigate at least and then go from there.

Yep, I can not even go sleep for 7 hours without another outrageous factoid coming out in this case. Nifong had all the information he needed to know this woman was deranged, yet for his reelection he drug her out like this. She may well not survive the pressure of a year waiting for a trial.

So, what in the world did Nifong have to laugh about in court?

I am really starting to believe he actually didn't look at any of the evidence.

He'd have to be totally deranged to be laughing at the cell phone motions in court if he had read the papers we know about now.

You were referring to Frank Kafka.

The character he wrote about was Josef, correct?

Sorry, forgot to answer this post last night.

I have never actually read much by Kafka. So I know it is Franz Kafka, but do not remember the name of his caracter in the trial. [I think I read one chapter of it maybe 30+ years ago as an undergrad. That chapter was a shortstory in an anthology.] I just know Kafka as an expression or term for government legal overbearing.

Josef K is the victim in Kafka's brilliant but depressing The Trial. Written in the early 1920s and chronicles the sclerotic bureaucracy of the Hapsburg Empire, it also foreshadowed much that happened under Stalin and Hitler - and now Nifong. I recommend it highly - but I would avoid alcohol or any other depressant while reading it. It begins: "Someone must have slandered Josef K., for one morning, without having done anything truly wrong, he was arrested." Sound familiar?

She pitched a fit about going home and that's why when she gets back in - they go to HIS home.

That is bothersome. It appears something ticked off the AV for her to get out of the car and start walking. When she gets back in the car they drive to his home instead of her parent's.

After driving her around all weekend, Johnson doesn't drive the AV to the LAX party. She? calls Taylor, who claims he doesn't know the AV well, to drive her that night.

Something doesn't add up here. Both Johnson and Taylor mention watching the AV at a strip club in Hillsborough. Johnson said he drove her to the Platinum in Hillsborough, twice she asked him to stay another hour, and Taylor stated he and a male friend had watched her perform at a Hillsborough strip club.

Johnson and Taylor are likely acquainted and he may have called Taylor to drive the AV that night causing an argument with the AV. He may have taken her back to his place to placate her. Is it his DNA that was found on the AV?

Why didn't Johnson drive the AV that night? Why was she dumped off with Taylor? If she didn't want to do the LAX party and Johnson wasn't going to drive her there she may have thrown a fit.

She's a busy "little girl." How does she juggle all these appointments to feed her children and maintain a 3.0 at NCCU? /sarc.

Obviously they must grade on a steep curve at NCCU.

Barber also says Duke President Richard Brodhead should review his "quick study" of the issue and that it was out of line for interim coach Kevin Cassese to vouch for his players' innocence when he should have talked about how he'll correct pas (end)

From your link - However, a male friend of the accuser said that he had sex with her that week and that he drove her to three other sexual encounters, according to the friend's statement.

If that is true, then that makes her no less than a whore. Otherwise, how would he know that she had sex.

He is off the meth. It was been a 2 step forward, one step back process, but it is finally starting to come together. He has alway as been his own worst enemy.

He is 25 now and started down the drug road at 15. It is sad because of my 3 sons he is the most intelligent and has a heart of gold.

He lives at home and forks over his rent every payday. It goes without saying, I watch him like a hawk.

Meth is bad stuff and the scum who makes it & sells it are the worst of the worst. It turned my son into a monster when he was tweaking. I hated what he had become. Pure hatred.

But mother's love being what it is, I remembered the little boy he once was and fought like a tiger to make it as hard for him to continue his habit as I could. I used to tell him if he wanted to kill himself he can do it with any help from us and refused to let the fear of a psychotic tweaker ruin our lives. In fact I told him that when they put him in the ground I will be able to say I did everything I could.

He thanks me for it now.

via the New York Times:

The woman's father said in an interview Thursday that she was seeing a psychiatrist and was in no condition to testify. "I don't know how long it'll be before she gets back in her right frame of mind," he said. "It could be years."
