Typical: CNN giving airtime to WHO Al-Zarqawi was rather than HOW the US Eliminated Him!

Posted on 06/08/2006 1:39:54 PM PDT by klimeckg

I'm in the airport once again suffering from the CNN Airport Terminal monopoly.

It seems to me that CNN is more interested in subtly strressing Who Al-Zarqawi was and sort of giving him praisies rather than degrading him even more by focusing in on how the US troops tracked him down and killed him! And of course that have the idiot Congressman Muderer on.

Oh give them a break ... The liberal media is in mourning that Zarqawi was killed

Plus it is yet another sign that the Good Guys are winning this WOT

And that really bothers the liberals

Oh, those questions are for their MSM loyal listeners in the mosques all across the U.S. As they were trying to pry scraps of intelligence information from Tony Snow, somewhere Achmed and Walid, sitting on a filthy carpet in a rundown storefront, aka mosque, were listening intently. I sure hope they enjoyed the gun camera footage...

As for CNN being on every blessed TV in every single airport I fly out of, it's time that the oppressed masses aka frequent fliers, rise up and revolt. I've been hitting my flights really well lately, but the next delay that happens to me will give me time to find that tiny little room somewhere in any airport where the mid-level drone who is in charge of airport TV's is hiding or sleeping or clockwatching. I'm going to smack him with my purse, roll-on, and computer case all at once. When he is lying on the floor dazed and bleeding, I'm going to grab the giant remote and change all the channels to QVC. How's that for a fantasy?

I have another one where all the smokers in Atlanta-Hartfield revolt against their revolting punishment room and take over the nearest airport bar...and maybe one of those giant golf carts with the belligerent black lady driver who always meets the 250+lbs. weight requirement. I've always wanted a ride through that hellhole, but sadly, I am in superb physical condition and the hefty black lady just glares at me and shakes the multi-colored beads in her weave. In my fantasy, I pull her from the seat, and all the pitiful smokers and I go careening down the concourse (to cheers and wild applause) until we pull up at the door of TGI Fridays (the golf cart fits on the escalator of course!)
and have many fruity drinks and smokes to celebrate...
and only after a young Army soldier in full uniform beats up the swishy guy at Sharper Image do we depart for our on time flights. Ah, "sweet dreams are made of these"!

Way too frequent flier

Condi's assistant was just on and was very informative and very good. Kudos to Chrissie for having him on.

Just wait, looks like DeLay may get hammered later on in the show.

Lisa myers coming up after break. Bet she's spinning like a top.

I can sympathize with you, but you do know that CNN created a special CNN Airport Network service? They provide the equipment in return for being blasted at weary travlers like you.

Don't you feel special now?

Lisa Myers: Zarq was a charasmatic figure. pioneered the internet as a terrorist tool for recruiting, propaganda, etc.
Should be thanking algore? LOL. My remark, not Lisa's.

Pentagon has won battle of images............at least for this day according to Lisa. Hope springs eternal for the MSM.

Zarq was the head of the snake and has been removed. All it takes though is a few locals and the internet and back to business of killing people.

blah, blah, blah

Matthews has to have Condi's assistant on so it "balances" the 85% of the show that's trying to downplay this thing.

We'll know the media are afraid that this is helping Bush when in a few days they start their "Katrina--Almost One Year Later" stories.

Agree totally. The MSM is in a mode like I have never seen. They are depressed but trying to put a happy face on Zarq's death. Their bias is still showing through and you are so right. They are scared to death this may help Bush in the polls and if it does, it just wasn't worth it.

Harris Miller - D. running against G. Allen in VA.
Still a disaster in Iraq and we need to bring troops home and fire Rumsfeld. Mistake to go to Iraq.

Jim Webb another D candidate is agreeing totally with Miller and of course Chris is wetting himself.

Bash Bush time, big time and the show has reverted to form. I remember now why i quit watching even slivers of this show. Quagmire word being bandied about now.

This is a freaking lovefest against bashing Bush. Kumbaya.

On to immigration reform now. Bush has been bloodied about Iraq, Zarq death no big deal, let's look for something else we can fire both barrels on.

Neither of these 3 loons know what to do about immigration, but rest assured if elected, they will have all the answers. too bad both cannot serve as co-senators and run against Allen. Gay ammendment up now. Need to have gays in military.
Openly gay in military is what is needed.

We are totally against anything Bush is for. Aren't we smart?

" . . . sort of giving him praisies . . . "

Something along these lines?:

________________________

CNN: 'Zarqawi was an extremely religious person. We remember looking with awe and reverence when we saw the look of rapture in his eyes when he raised the head of a non-believer to Allah during one of his holy rituals. He will be missed by all of us. A truly inspiring man who was born in poverty and worked his way up as a humble floor-sweeper at a local meat market, learning the trade so rapidly he was promoted to chief butcher even while an apprentice. Eventually retiring from worldly pursuits, the modest pilgrim began applying the principles of his trade to his holy calling. Yes, a role-model for all who would follow in his footsteps.'

______________________________

. . . all the way to the safe house, I trust. Sooner rather than later.

Just from the segment with Miller and Webb I think neither has a room temp IQ and George Allen would clean the floor with either or both.

Is this the best the Ds can put forth?

Oh, shoot, I had just gone for a swim and missed it, Chuck. Sorry I wasn't there or I'd have been happy to try and capture the discussion.

That's OK. It really wasn't that exciting.

Probably tomorrow or Monday Chrissie will be back in full "Bash Bush" form and will have hundreds of reasons why Zarq's death was not that big a deal.

Typical. The liberal press is amazing in its new tactic: Assuming the war is lost.

Example: On the cover of the new Harpers it reads "With Iraq lost, Republicans look to blame..." someone or other.

It's Tom Wolfe's liberal elite from the Vietnam era all over again--you can practically hear the clink of white wine glasses at Harvard faculty meetings, where of COURSE everyone knows Iraq has been lost.

Then you'd best be ready for when *I* find the control room and take the remote from YOU. ;)

FOX News basically did the same thing, they said Z-Man was a high school dropout, intellectually stupid, and wouldn't amount to much in life.
