May well be this gentleman should STAY OUT of those pubs until he gets home!
I flew from Manchester, NH to Nashville last year, and next week I'm flying from Manchester to Pittsburgh. A nice small airport--cheaper parking rates than Logan in Boston, etc.
It would take me just as long to drive the 53 miles to Manchester, NH as it would to go into Boston (24 miles, but much heavier traffic).
I'm sure he was alarmed when he found the plane from Cleveland to "Manchester, England" was landing after only an hour or two!
When I was flying (Southwest Airlines) back from Nashville
to Manchester, it was the Friday of July 4th weekend. As we landed, a stewardess (flight attendant, whatever) got on the loudspeaker and not only wished us a happy 4th of July weekend, but she also asked us to remember the true meaning of being an American; how lucky we are to live in this great country--and she sang "God Bless America"! We all applauded.
