Dude, the reason he didn't attend was...not only was he meaningless in the Steelers' SB victory, the few times he was in in the season, he performed so horribly he almost cost the team any CHANCE of getting to the SB (that is why they had to have the most amazing comeback/playoff run in NFL history to get to the SB and win). I think he was embarrassed to even show up. I think he realizes he didn't win a damned thing. I think, however, that if he really had class, he would have declined a ring he didn't earn.

It's a team sport. It's also a sport where depth makes all the difference and having a proven back up QB is worth its weight in gold. The fact that he had a bad season is irrelevant to his deserving a ring. Your comment can't be qualified only for QB's who played terrible, you're nailing every second stringer in every team sport as not deserving. I don't think he showed any class either but for a different reason but I don't know all the facts. He's pissed off...all the more reason to show your face and stand up straight.
