Here's a question:

I am going to meet my girl's parents next week...but would really enjoy a spontaneous drive out to see her tomorrow. It takes 6 hours and is so impractical, but we really miss each other! I do have things to do, such as mowing the lawn, picking out a gift for someone, cleaning the house, etc...but I could easily hop in the car tomorrow morning and drive out there...and do the stuff (maybe) during the week...what should I do?

get in the car.

I have found that the "chores" of life will be there for you and are NOT as important as people. Now if there is a condemmed sign on your yard, that would be a different story.

The lawn will wait & so will the chores (never put cleaning a house before the one you love..)

6 hours is nothing, I've been on a 21 hour trip, and am planning another for Monday.
