HTML Graphs: an update The impact of the little HTML graph applet blows my mind. Here's what has happened in one week:
In the last five days of may, I had 114'579 unique visistors on aharef.info.
As I write this, 345'117 networks have been created.
According to technorati, 1'686 blogs link to aharef.info (aharef.info is not even two months old, so all the links are due to the HTML graph applet). Technically, this makes aharef Switzerland's most technorati - linked blog, but I'm not even on this list (not that I care ;-)
Massive coverage on del.icio.us, Digg and other sites, Flickr likes it a lot, Wired and Spiegel wrote about it etc.
I write all this to apologize that I haven't updated the blog recently - sory!! I'm very busy with the paintings, but I will update the applet soon. But please, take the source code and extend / modify it in whichever way you want, I'm very curious! Also, note that I read all comments and trackbacks on this site, so please keep posting.
Scroll down on the rendering page, and there's an explanation of all the dot colors. I haven't figured out yet how the interconnection of all of them is related.
I spent more time than I should have looking at the applet's HTML, and drew no conclusions, other than whomever wrote it must be on some very good acid.

Hmmmm, doesn't work in my IEv6 browser either. Can't say why...
Are applets an option? I use netscape v8.1 and the pages render fine.
I looked, can't find anything. Guess I download another browser
Thanks
