CAD programs are cool. Especially one that will allow you to set tool paths for multi-axis CNC milling centers. ;-)

Removing two slots, hunh?

Have you considered drilling eight small holes about 1/2 inch, or six slightly larger?

Do a little off-center knurling of the surface and it would look pretty sharp!

Are you going to ease the edges? You wouldn't want someone to cut himself.
