Well, above I posted the relevant portion of the transcript of that interview where Gen Clark clearly replies, in between interruptions, regarding the alleged WWII SS incident, that it is one thing when an enemy who you have been in a firefight with suddenly drops his weapon and says I surrender don't shoot and another regarding unarmed civilians that include women and children.

In the context of the format of Bill O'Reilly interviews, this is about as good as it gets. He is not interested in letting his guests get a word in edgewise. He simply interrupts them and talks over them until the 2 minute segment is over.

Well, if Clark put the American artillerymen murdered at Malmedy in the category of a combatant who suddenly throws down his rifle and throws up his hands, he is as big a boob as O'Reilly. Those artillerymen, IIRC, were riding in trucks when they were captured. There was no "heat of battle" involved at all. Pieffer simply didn't want to be burdened by prisoners, so he shot them.
