The "Trans-Texas Corridor" will be 100%, American taxpayer funded. When, and if ever complete to Canada, will be the largest public works project ever built. Moreover, the thing hasn't even been built yet, and there's talk about turning it over to a Spanish consortium to operate (collect the toll money)! Your hard earned tax dollars at work again! Lots of peaces to the puzzle yet to be fit. The SCOTUS gave a big boost to the project in the Kelo v. City of New London to legally steal land, once thought to be sacrosanct in our Constitution.

I can see that and I wonder if it was done to set the stage for the vast acreage that will be condemned to build the North American segement of the hemispheric transportation corridor?
