Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that You have gathered unto Yourself a community of believers to plead the cause of our nation before the Throne of Grace. May blessings abundant fall upon each one as we speak our anguish and despair and hope.

Grant unto those in authority over us, divine wisdom and strength of purpose, that laws made or enforced would be to enhance the safety of our beloved country. Turn aside attempts for personal gain or power ... let our hearts be guided by the Rule of Law and decency and order, for chaos and confusion comes from the camp of the enemy.

Give voice to the great concerns of the citizenry ... let their voice be heard across the land, and may those whom we have elected as our representatives, be circumspect in responding. May the righteous stand firm in conviction, and may they prevail, O Lord, that we might again rejoice ...

Sweet land of liberty,
Of thee I sing.

Land of the Pilgrim's pride!

Let freedom ring!
