Once again, O Lord,
We come to you on bended knee
and ask your mercy upon this land.
Help those who guide her
with the wisdom that can come only from you,
help our nation to heal from the terrible infighting
that causes our enemies glee.
Help those who work to keep our borders safe,
our courts just,
our leaders informed and honest.
You are our Lord and our life. Have mercy on us.
