Where do you find a bar that can accommodate 44 plates?

On one brand of leg press I can get 1500 pounds for reps of ten.

I would like to try more, but as you state, the machine will only take so many plates. The gym I was at had four 100 pound plates. The rest of the bar had to be loaded with 45s.

Anyway, I severely doubt Pat Robertson can press 2000 pounds.

That's pretty much what I've seen. I lift at a gym with some pretty bad*** dudes, and I've never seen them leg press 2000. If for no other reason than they can't fit the plates on the bar (we have either 4 or 6 100 lb plates as well).
