True story:

When I was 10, some friends and I went to hang out at the base gym, shoot some hoop, and try to get some exercise.

We hit the weight room and, while they were in another part of the room, I got on the leg press machine and set the bar at the highest weight (I think it was 400 pounds). I sat in the chair and pushed with all my might. Up went the weights--all of them to the top. I was shocked and yelled for my friends to come see me, but they didn't hear.

I let the weights down, pulled them to the machine and said "watch this." Again I pushed with all my might, but the weights didn't budge. Not one inch.

I remember while I was in high school we were maxing out on Squats.

I was always a good Squatter (har har har) and I was able to consistently rep 420 lbs or so with no issues until the 3rd set. It was always fun trying to go up stairs after that too.

I was able to get 560 up once in that max. I couldn't walk for a while after that :)
