I have to say our children (those of Generation X and slightly older) don't have the "white guilt" our Baby Boomer generation has. The black community may just find out they spent the last of their moral authority. Parents of the Boomer generation wanted to reach out and right the wrongs of long dead ancestors in this country. Boomers really bought into the program, but I've noticed 30's and younger don't have that mentality. This may be the last payment on the debt owed to African Americans. It depends on how many people have to be destroyed and bankrupted before the white middle class says, "Enough!"

The good news is that this was not in Durham so Nifong is not in the picture so this case may not be handled with vindictiveness. Couple this story with the one on reinstatement of Duke lacrosse. Guess who is not going to see playing time? I'll bet the new coach kicks this guy off the team just to make a point.
