He would be a good choice, but given the use of the poster of the players, and given the things she said happened that didn't, I think any player there has a good cause of action for slander and its harm.

The damage she has done to these young men is in the millions. Every one of them has been besmirched for all time, even if they are ultimately somewhat vindicated.

IMHO, the only way you'll ever force her to tell her story in a good forum is a civil case in another jurisdiction. She has to show, because if someone gets a default judgment against her, there goes her payday on the book deal or the movie.

My thought is that he is in better position because she did accuse him. She did not accuse all the others. I think all of them have good cases against the people that put the poster out, I just don't think she had anything to do with it. Just because the police did not follow up on her accusation does not make it any less real or damaging in my opinion.

Maybe this was why one of the lawyers was making a stink about the Crimestoppers poster with his unnamed client on it. He said he wanted the police to investigate their involvement in this poster. Maybe Crimestoppers and local law enforcement could be a target of such a lawsuit.

What if they bring this where the national Crimestoppers offices are? That might do it.
