So, what is most likely a black-on-black crime is not a priority to Durham PD or the city politicians. Six months and no pressure to complete the testing. I guess their theory is that if they can make the victims look less than pure as the driven snow, nobody except their families are going to care if the case is never solved - lay down with dogs, and you're going to get fleas. But, all things considered, my guess is that if there was an inkling that the perps were white, DPD and the city's politicians and the black race-baiters and power brokers would be all over the case.
Strange thing about that case is that one of the victims, Lennis Harris, is the son of a Durham Fire Marshal and the nephew of a recently retired police captain, Sonny Harris, who headed the police district in which NCCU is located. I would think his family would have some influence in Durham. I guess not. Strange place.
