"Oh i doubt dragon was a term for dinosaur."
In the KJV that is the word used.
Let's look at Job 40:15-24
[15] Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
[16] Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
[17] He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
[18] His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
[19] He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
[20] Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
[21] He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
[22] The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
[23] Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
[24] He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.
Job.30:29
[29] I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls.
Pss.91:13
[13] Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Isa.43:20
[20] The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.
ANd on and on it goes. More often than not interpreting dragon as a literal dinosauer makes sense and is not symbolic.
I realize evolutionists etc. don't believe in God ... that's okay. MY God does as He states in creation and I see no inconsistency with dinosaurs living with man. When you strip away the faulty dating methods ... it makes perfect sense. People have been moving away from Godless origins and are finding it is creation to trump Godless origins. Then again, you believe whatever you wish!

Chill i believe in God, just not in a young earth. Like I said, the bible states that the devil, the guy that tried to destroy the universe, was a dragon. The eastern version of dragons as spiritual entities can be seen as consistent with this, but a dinosaur?
