If I were to have had my son in Germany, on an American Army base, born of two American soldiers, the best he could have been was a "naturalized citizen."

BBZZZTTTT!!! Wrong!!! You're talking to a guy who was born while my Dad was stationed in Stuttgart. I am an AMERICAN citizen from BIRTH. Not naturalized. Why? Because my parents are both AMERICAN Citizens.

I was told by those who had had their kids on a military base in Germany that my son would be a citizen of the US--but a NATURALIZED one. Further, if he were in Germany at some time in his adulthood, the Deutschlanders could draft him because THEY would consider him to be a citizen of Germany. In addition, he would not allowed to be the president. (Yea, I know...)

I would like to see your citizenship papers...I'm just curious.

Maybe the people there just wanted to get rid of me since I came home to have my son here...??? :-o
