I'll bet they've had to put extra spaces on the forms for things like schools and jails. I only have seven letters in my first name, and there were never enough spaces when I was a kid.

I had the same problem with my seven-letter first name! Couple that with a nine-letter last name and you have writing all outside the boxes.
