I hope you can continue the family grave visitation/decoration each memorial day.
We have been doing it since I can remember. MANY years ago there were be a party of 30 -40 to visit graves & then big BBQ or pitch in dinner. as the years progressed it was less people & dinner out at restaurant.
yesterday it was me alone.. and I was cleaning & putting flowers on the graves of many relatives who were part of the early caravans.
Life goes on.. and the remaining carry the tradition. Think it will die when I leave or die. All are scattered & care little about these things.
